My Story

My Journey to Wellness Through Yoga In my early 20s, despite being active in sports like martial arts, I faced numerous health challenges. Digestive issues like gastritis and colitis, structural pain from sciatica and lower back issues, and emotional stress manifested in explosive anger and daily discomfort. The physical toll was immense, with psychosomatic symptoms disrupting my life and sleep. I felt trapped in a cycle of pain and uncertainty, visiting specialists and relying on medications, yet finding no relief. It was during this difficult time that a friend introduced me to yoga. Skeptical but hopeful, I attended a class, and the experience was transformative. For the first time, I felt a profound sense of relaxation and stillness, something I hadn't known was possible. Within six months, my life changed dramatically. The sciatica and back pain that seemed destined for surgery vanished. My digestive issues resolved, and the anger and stress that once controlled me faded away. Yoga wasn't just exercise; it became a lifestyle that reshaped my eating, breathing, and thinking habits. On the first anniversary of my yoga journey, my master entrusted me to lead a basic class, marking the beginning of my path as a teacher. For over 45 years, I've embraced this lifestyle, sharing the principles and techniques that transformed my life with others. Yoga & its principals have given me the gift of mental well-being through awareness, mindfulness, and meditation. It's a journey of healing and empowerment that I am passionate about sharing with you. If you're facing similar struggles, know that change is possible. Awareness Integration Theory is a multi-modality Psycho therapeutic model that enhances self-awareness, releases past traumas and/or incomplete psychological blocks, promoting clarity and positive attitude to learn and implement new skills for an effective, productive, and successful life. Awareness Integration Theory integrates cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and somatic techniques to create more awareness into a person’s life patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving toward self and others. Through this awareness, a person brings into consciousness the correlation between the way one perceives the world, makes decision about oneself as an identity, relates and acts toward the world as that identity, and creates results toward proving the decided upon self-identity. Through the Awareness Integration Theory’s techniques, the person has the opportunity to bring forth the origination of the decision making regarding the self and the world, to heal the original and/or other events that have led to creation and sustainment of a negative core belief, irrational formulas/ schemas and to choose a more positive or workable belief about self and the world. Awareness Integration Model is structured in consideration of all the areas that one faces and relates to in one’s span of life. The questions are structured to entice awareness that leads to consciousness, a sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability toward one’s creation of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and results.
